1980 Cadillac Brougham Description:

For Sale Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe. 2 door. Not Coupe Deville.
This car carries a different VIN prefix than a Coupe Deville and a 4 door Fleetwood and is very hard to find in any condition.
Only about 2,300 made in 1980. Original 368 had an exhaust leak from a broken head to manifold bolt. I pulled it out and replaced with a 500.
1975 500 C.I. engine has been installed with original fuel system. 83XXX miles on car about 50K on engine which is all original bore and crank sizes.
Rebuilt in 1991. Quadrajet carburetor. No computer engine controls. Turbo 400 transmission in great shape. 2.41:1 rear axle. 12 bolt ring and pinion in 10 bolt case.
Midas oversized exhaust with turbo muffler and modern catalytic converter. Brakes work well and have been kept up on, Tires don't leak but they are older and do not grip well in rain.
Cadillac factory alloy black rims under hubcaps for maximum ride quality. Hub caps are from 1988 because they are lightweight. Originals included. Drives well, drive anywhere. I used this for work and drove about 5k miles a year. Very reliable. Recent alternator, battery, starter, fuel pump and accelerator pump.
Original never hacked AC system. Will need AC compressor replaced. Compressor and brackets for AC included in sale.
All original level ride system is in place and working fine. Body is very solid with paint failure on most surfaces. All Fleetwood Coupe specific parts are there and in good condition.
Fly in drive it anywhere. Interior needs dash cover, arm rest work, seat leather is faded but might cleanup. This car needs a lot of cosmetic TLC but should clean up well.
Someone backed into RF fender see pix. Straight replacement fender included in sale.
Clear parking lights are from 1983 Fleetwood because I like the look. Original amber Fleetwood parking lights are included. Body color = Sandstone. Always adult owned.
Second owner, clean title in hand. First owner selected this car at a car show in 1980-1/2 where it was introduced as the new body style. 1980 Fleetwood Coupe models do NOT suffer from the rust underneath the vinyl where the roof meets the body. Most later ones seem to rust right there.
