1962 Cadillac DeVille Description:

For sale is my 1962 Cadillac Sedan Deville. I bought it about a year and a half ago from a man who had done some minor work after the car had been sitting since the mid 1980s. He put new tires on it, did some wiring, did a little brake work, new gas tank. No receipts for this work. Once I bought it, I had the original Cadillac 6.4 390 rebuilt stock. Rebuilt original carburetor, rebuilt original starter, replaced original generator with an alternator. Rebuilt oil pump. Fixed exhaust leak. New battery. Power steering hoses replaced as well as any other hoses that were leaking or looked old. Rebuilt motor has less than 500 miles on it. Receipts for this work. Sounds beautiful and it's got some pickup. Drives straight. Small coolant leak, I believe from the radiator as I hadn't got to replacing it yet. Transmission fluid leak, had a few gaskets replaced but it's still coming out from somewhere. Power windows all work, power locks work, power seats work, radio works, horn works, speedo works, gas gauge and temp gauge work, odo does not work. Factory heat and air are complete but not working. Paint is driver quality. Interior is original, front seat could stand to be reupholstered. Back seat is very nice, headliner is perfect, door panels look great still. One spot of rust on passenger side fender where the AC gets clogged, other than that just minimal surface rust. I'm selling because it's broke down on me a few times in the last couple months. It'll start and drive for a while but eventually just stall. I think the fuel pump is going bad but I'm going into college and need to prepare for that financially instead of spending money on the car.
