THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owneris this cool classic 1961 Cadillac Sedan Deville VIN61L082356!
Finished in jet black over black and grey, this 57 year-old classic American sedan features the desirable 390 cubic inch V8 engine mated to the factory automatic transmission with power brakes, electric windows, power steering am radio, original hubcaps and the original repair manual! It is being sold with clean and clear title and original keys!
THE EXTERIOR
The exterior of this big-finned Caddy is in FAIR overall condition with decent shine to the paint finish with good original chrome. There are some small corrosion spots along with various nicks, scratches, fading, cracked glass and other cosmetic blemishes. Drive as is or its a great candidate to bring back to its original luster
THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this 1961 Cadillac is in fair, quite tattered but original condition overall with torn headliner and seat upholstery, cracks on the dash and wear on the carpeting. The odometer does not work as well as the hvac. Two of the electric windows do work along with the lights and horn. The electric window control cluster is hanging from the door panel, the radio powers up but makes no sound and the clock works perfectly only twice daily.
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1961 Classic runs VERY well after some tricky starting procedure wiggling the key and the gear selector. The brakes stops great with nice power brake feel, smooth power steering and a nice smooth ride. The suspension is clunky over sharp bumps and could use a going through to be closer to new.
