1959 CADILLAC COUPE 62 SERIES.

1959 Cadillac Series 62 Description:

Recently released from long time dead storage. Major service just completed. New radiator, hoses, belts and complete brake jobincluding fully rebuilt booster/master.Fuel tank cleaned with a new sending unit installed. Carburetor and fuel pump both rebuilt. Full tune up including plugs, points, and condenser. New battery installed. Tires are old however have good tread.
Factory A/C complete however does not work. Radio does not play and has correct antennae which does not work. Power seatworks in a couple of directions however is not fully functional. All windows work however rear windows need service for full operation.Starts hot or cold and shifts smoothly. Steers well. Horn ring is not broken.
Older repaint however is presentable, Chrome has some minor pitting and hazing. Interior redone with aftermarket material however inexcellent condition. Glass appears original with some scratches. We have identified some rust in the rear quarter panels.
We do not want any misunderstandings. This is a nice car which will require further restoration to take it to the next level. It is not a show carhowever will make an excellent vehicle for hobby events, cruise nights and a great conversation piece.
