1956 Buick Special Series 40 two door hardtop A good example of a solid Arkansas car since new. It is still an original car, it has the 322 cu.in. nailhead V8 engine and the Dynaflow automatic transmission. the engine will run and the trans. works. The brakes need work before driving and the exhaust needs repair. The orig. padded dash is in excellent condition. It still has the orig. factory black and white vinyl interior which needs to be re-done. All the stainless trim is there and is in very good shape. The footwells in the floor have been patched. The front and rear windshields have new gaskets already installed. I believe the car is 100% complete, I know of nothing missing. The body has the orig. rocker panels and quarter panels and are in good condition. The body data tag indicates the colors were Dover white and Carlsbad black.
