We had bought this car about 3 years ago, we had all the intentions to fix it up and drive it on weekends and go to car shows.... well with 4 kiddos it makes for little time : )
This 1951 buick super has been sitting in storage for about 2 years now. it has newer whitewall tires, red leather with black piping seats, and about 2-3 years ago my friend / mechanic had worked on it here and there he said he had rebuilt brake system, but there is still a small leak somewhere. rebuilt carb up 1, jets upgraded distributer and coil, no more points and condenser rebuilt, rebuilt starter.
Please take a look at the frame it is in good shape.++++ CAR WILL NEED TO BE REKEYED, IM SORRY I CANT FIND KEY++++ONLY 34,937 MILES
The new upholstery was $1700. The whitewall tires were $1300. these both come included.
This car has a little rust near bottom of car and little /medium rust on front and back bumpers. The frame is good. The floor pans were not in good enough condition so we did start ripping them up.
This car has been sitting for about 2 years and keep in mind its about 70 years old so i would recommend towing it. Im sorry I'm not mechanically inclined or I would get it up and running for someone, but I would imagine a few hours of tinkering with someone who knows what they are doing the car will run again. On its last drive I was told that he drove it at about 55 mph and the transmission shifted fine, the car did not vibrate, its brakes are slow to stop the car.
