1970 Buick Skylark Description:
For sale is a fully functional 1970 Buick Skylark. Starts, runs and drives well. Was used several times a week until March, as that's when I put it up for sale (moving to other projects). V8 350cu engine, automatic, with power steering and factory air (modernized and works just fine).The car is mechanically sound, running well and ready to go where ever you need, with all lights and gauges working properly except for the fuel gauge which sometimes sticks at the full mark.
Cosmetically, it shows its 47 years, but not terribly. The interior shows wear, but has not major rips or tears in the seats, just some threadbare spots. One small rip in the headliner. The carpet has no tears or wear through spots, but is faded. A brand new set of carpeting, specific to this model and with extra padding, is in its original packaging in the trunk ready for installation. The dash is in good condition with no cracks. The car was repainted some years ago (before I owned it) a different shade of blue from the original color, and will need new paint eventually. The front plastic grill is cracked badly. Minor rust starting in the front quarters. All glass is good, and all window cranks and door handles work as they should. Trunk is very good. Comes with a good car cover.
