1972 Buick Riviera boat tail Description:

This is a beautiful example of a 72 Riviera boat tail. I am a car dealer but I bought this car personally from someone in Oregon to keep in my showroom and take out to parades and such. It runs excellent, drives excellent. I only put about 500 miles on it though in the last 2 years I owned it. I fixed some oil leaks, tranny seal leak and fixed the power windows do line up . Got new rubber weatherstripping for the windows and doors. But the car was restored by the person before m, the exterior is excellent with a beautiful clearcoat shine. As you can see in the pictures it is black on the bottom and it has a grey-silver snake skin finishon the top part. This finish is achieved by the painter by using plastic wrap and dabbing the wet paint with it. Then clearcoat on top. It is truly gorgeous and looks just like snake skin. All the chrome has been powder coated black. Gives it a very unique look. The interior has also been redone new upholstery on the seats that have a reptile pattern to it(you can see in the photos). Some new gauges were added to accurately keep track on water temp, tach and such.It has the original buick 455 engine, after market exhaust, it sounds like the beast it is.
Really all this car needs is to be driven. Or stored. Whatever you prefer.Like I said it has been a great show piece for my showroom for the past two years but now it's time to get something fresh .Obviously sold AS IS with no implied warranties.
