1991 BMW 318is
This car was is an all original California car, meaning completely bone dry, no rust or any other body damage. All body panels match with vin, nothing replaced. Only 3 owners, with clean title and multiple maintenance done recently, all work done by me.
A more specific details of work done on my ownership:
Mechanical
Valve cover gasket and grommets, replaced.
Intake gaskets, replaced.
Main fuel line, fuel filter, injector o-rings, fuel rail lines, replaced
Oil pan gaskets, replaced
Motor Mounts, replaced.
Timing cover gaskets, seals, profile gasket, replaced.
Vacuum lines, replaced all cracked and damaged lines with new ones.
Spark Plugs, replaced.
Cooling system, overhauled, flushed and serviced.
New thermostat, water pump, fan clutch, upper hose, radiator and fluids all serviced and replaced.
Throttle body gaskets, replaced.
New alternator and grommets, replaced.
Accessory belts, replaced.
All new pulleys hardware.
Power steering, drained and serviced.
New power steering line crush washers.
Shifter insulator, replaced.
Shifter rebuilt, previously.
Timing chain and guides replaced before me, all inspected at the time gaskets were serviced, cam sprockets look like new with no wear.
Mechanically this car can be driven to anywhere. A/C converted to R134 prior in California, stills works and compressor engages, it just takes a but to tool off, guessing will need charge at some point.
Brakes and tires were done and serviced last year by past owner, suspension also was upgraded to Vogtland springs and new struts and rear shocks by previous owner as well. No noises, drives straight with no issues.
The differential was upgraded by a previous owner to a 4.27 LSD, it drives great on the freeway, I have drove it multiple times for 6-10 hour trips with great gas mileage and acceleration.
Interior
Being an original car as I mentioned before, has its little age, like driver side seat shows some little cracks although is not split open. Dash was replaced by me and all the vents were cleaned with insulator seals replaced for a tight seal.
Rest of interior is clean, well preserved, no stains and great condition passenger and rear seats, also nice clean door cards and rear panels.
All seat options works as they should and they’re tight with no play on them.
All switches, clock, radio, mirrors, windows, defrost, a/c, lights etc. work perfectly.
No weird or unwanted service lights on the dash. Healthy drivetrain can be enjoy as a daily driver or weekend driver and still keep gaining value every year.
Sunroof operating perfectly, manually crank operated, serviced and greased.
New shifter knob.
All the tools included, nothing missing. Spare tire and tools also included. All OEM equipment used on this car.
