For sale is a 1958 BMW 600 Limousine. California car solid and mostly complete.I bought this car several years ago with plans to restore it. I brought it home and put it in my garage and it has never been touched since. I could never find the time to work on it so i have decided to sell.,condition of transaxle,steering and brakes is unknown. For that reason the car is being sold in as is condition with no warranty.I have very little past info on the car but this is what i do know.The body has zero rust, zero bondo and shows no signs of any major damage it does have dents and dings from 60 years of use..The car is mostly complete.The original color was red a new front windshield is included in the sale and comes with new rubber seal that goes around front windshield all the rest of the glass is original and in good condition.Tires are new with powder coated wheels and new valves. Tires are the correct size of 5-20-10.The vin plate number and the frame number match but i could not find a motor number I was told by the previous owner it was the original motor but without a number i can't say for sure.A previous owner did all the work some things i can verify other things i cant.I was told the motor and transaxle were rebuilt by professionals but i can't verify that. The motor does run good and sounds good but will need some exhaust work I don't know about the transaxle and steering because the car has no brakes so its not drivable.The complete brake system was removed from the car to be restored but that never got finished.The body was removed from the frame the frame was cleaned and painted new bushing, spring, and shocks were installed.The body was taken down to bare metal and painted red the original color. The paint job is poor but would be ok if you just want to drive the car and have fun. The underside of the car was painted with what looks like a black spray in truck bedliner.The interior was redone in black and white and would be ok for a driver. Still needs headliner.The car just needs a little more work to be a nice driver quality car it is very solid to start with and a lot of the work has already been done.I have a clear title in my name.Car is being sold as is where is with no warranty. I will require a $500 non refundable deposit through PayPal with in 24 hours of auctions end and the balance to be paid with in 7 days no exceptions.
