Highlights:

Clear in-hand Virginia title

Car was purchased from a Northern California seller in 2010 (i still have the ebay listing)

Malaga exterior paint redone around 2016

4 speed manual transmission

Original matching number body & M10 engine with upgraded weber carburetor

Original 13” steel wheels with spare; all 5 have fresh ~1yr old Kumho tires with plenty of tread left.

Custom Lloyd Mat in trunk

Bavarian Autosport floor mat set

Hella driving lights with cockpit switch

Guibo and driveshaft boots have been replaced by professional mechanics.

Major mechanical restoration done around 2013 by highly regarded Joe's Auto Barn in Texas:

Gas tank replaced, restored, professionally painted on the outside and sealed from the inside around 2013.

Muffler replaced around 2016.

Car does not smoke when driving.

The M10 engine is very reliable engine with a timing chain instead of a belt as in many modern vehicles

Original corduroy fabric interior is nearing the end of its life (almost 50 years old). Driver seat was restuffed about 1 year ago.

I have all records under my ownership. (Past ~8 years)

Buyer will receive a bavarian autosport car cover, club (wheel lock) and 2 boxes of assorted parts/accessories.

Living in Northern Virginia now the car is always goes to Classic Car Center in Fredericksburg, VA for winter storage.

I'm selling the car because I have two BMWs and I'm moving cross country; now is the time for someone else to enjoy it.

This car as a driver meant for one who wants to enjoy the car and drive it; this is not going to be a concourse trophy winner.

Known issues:

Before I purchased the car it had repaired front end damage. The left headlight shines slightly off level. The Hella driving lights allow for night driving when desired.

During my ownership the rear end and right quarter panel were damaged and completely replaced leaving the door gap slightly larger on the passenger side. Although this occurred the car retains a clear title, frame is straight. Ive driven it in the rain many times and have never had water come into the interior; there is no effect on the driveability of the car.

2ndgear synchros are worn. Car will slip out of 2ndgear on deceleration.

Odometer does not currently operate, 67919 is not the total mileage.

Gas gauge does not currently operate

Engine leaks small amounts of oil (this is normal for a car of this age/type)

Heat blower does not work; this is common amongst 2002s of this vintage.
