1974 BMW 2002 Base Coupe Description:

For sale is my 1974 BMW 2002. I have owned the car since 2004 and have made many upgrades. The car has always been garaged and never driven in the rain since I have owned it. New since 2007 are: Paint (Chevy 50 Cotillion White), interior (minus seats which are original), 15 in Konig wheels, 3 series radiator with additional aft fan (although with new radiator alone it does not overheat), fuel pump, water pump, plugs, wires and coil, Weber 32-26 carburetor, custom titanium heat shield, starter, door/trunk seals, wheel bearings, front brakes and rotors. Head was removed, planed and pressure tested in 2010 with new valves installed. Compression test 2 years ago: 129,129, 131, 132.Also included are: original 13 in steel wheels (set of 4), Sony head unit, with amplifier and sub and wiring harness. Car is a 3 speed automatic but includes a 4 speed 2002 transmission from a 1976, with pedal box and various parts and manuals. Car has what I believe to be original A/C, minus compressor.Car runs and drives very well, will cruise comfortably at 65-70 mph. Paint is near flawless and interior is in excellent condition except a small tear in the seam of the driver's seat. 3 speed automatic transmission runs and shifts strong. Original plan was to install 4 speed manual when the automatic reached its end of life, but it continues to run well. Transmission does have a minor leak, but when driven regularly, does not present a problem.
