Euro 732 sedan, one owner for 34 years

1984 BMW 7-Series Description:

This BMW was purchased new in Germany by a rocket scientist, who brought the car to his home in the U.S. He kept the car for 34 years, until January 2018. He always garage kept the car, and it has continued to be garaged. You can see a couple of tiny areas of rust that he repaired himself, but the car is mostly all rust free and well preserved. There are also a couple of small dents or impressions. The entire time he owned the car, he fastidiously serviced it himself. It runs like a top, and does not smoke at all, engine sounds great. He drove it conservatively and religiously changed the oil. He also made some minor modifications, including adding a push button start and extra gauges tastefully installed. The original dark red leather is beautiful, with some wear on the drivers seat. An air conditioning line recently failed, and so that will require replacement. To be able to represent the true condition, we had it safety inspected and it needs a muffler. It also has some play in the front wheels, the inspector suspected it needs wheel bearings. It also had one reverse lamp out, and he was not able to get the defroster to work. But the cars runs and sounds terrific, and drives down the road very nicely. We would like to keep this car forever, except it is being sold to help fund an upcoming college bill.
