You are looking at my 1989 "ix”. For those of you who do not know this was BMW's 4wd answer to the market in the late 80's. Very cool concept with old school reliability, none of this electronic crap like today's cars! You also got the better looking fender flares and side skirts which make the car in my opinion. This example had been sitting unused for a few years before I purchased it. What drew me to this one was its sound body and very clean interior. Sure, the paint has seen better days, but common for any older car. That's an easy fix, besides this one is 99% rust free which is the main deal breaker for me. The paint is great as far as patina, for your your car shows you would want to have it painted. All trim pieces on the exterior are present and accounted for. The wheels have been refinished, but some jackass stole the center caps. The glass is good and free of cracks. The seats are in great shape and I have taken many pictures to Illustrate this. The carpet and headliner are nice as well. The dash is cracked, shocker! Under the hood is a clean engine bay compromised of many new parts: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, AFM, hoses-coolant and vacuum, radiator, gaskets etc. needless to say the engine sounds great, this one needs to be driven. This has not been my primary transportation and I just do not have time to drive it especially with the kids playing travel ball. Instead of sitting I thought I'd sell it. There are still some bugs that need to be dealt with, windows seem to have a mind of their own, drivers side always works, the others work when they want, I believe it has to do with the other black switch in the console. Like many e30's, the odometer does not roll so unsure of exact mileage. She starts easily and goes down the road as she should, I have not driven her a very long distance a Xbox would recommend shipping the car, just being honest, don't want you to fly in from Boston and drive it back and have an issue!
