Two (2) 1987 535is for one price. Yes, I have two of these increasingly rare cars. These were the definitive example of the BMW 535is. The pics posted are for both cars. These cars are becoming rarer every year. I have decided to let both cars go. They are sold as is, where is. One is the Beauty the other the Beast.The First Car- The Beauty. I have owned this car since the late '90s. I bought it in Atlanta had it restored with new paint and tan leather. Over the years I have lavished a great deal on it. The engine was tuned by a master BMW mechanic and through the years it has been a real head turner. Even those behind the wheel of a new BMW turn their heads. Going to fill-up always gets questions. I am nearing retirement and need to let it go to someone else that loves these cars. It is not a perfect car, though the paint and interior remain well done. It is not a show car. The engine is still very strong but the transmission needs a 3rd gear synchronizer. Speedometer head needs to be replaced. True mileage is not known. The exact mileage cannot be determined and in here in Alabama it is exempt. I have most of the records for work done but over the last 20 years but don't have all of them. The car could use a wiper motor which I have secured and is included.
It was originally painted by one of the leading body shops in Birmingham, AL and he has put paint on several of my cars. He lays down glass and touched this one up prior to this listing.

Originally I bought the car to restore. It is also a 1987 535is- identically equipped as to the car. Brought to Birmingham I never got around to the restoration. It ran, had a solid engine; transmission and good interior. It has the stock BBS 15" wheels. Since purchased I have only removed the driver's seat. (It does come with a similar Recaro seat, though not mounted. It has been stored at my friend's body shop since purchase. You can use it as parts car; restore it or sell it. That is up to you. To be plain- it has been parked for 3 years or more.
