1984 BMW 3-Series 2 door Description:

One owner, original owner. Been stored for 9 years since I am in Chicago now. Car is in Orange County California.Original seats were cloth; I replaced with Tan Leather years ago. Leather is in great shape.Front two seats need repair to metal folding mechanism(s).Has new engine with less than 1000 miles on it. as you can see in picture 8 original odometer has 152k on it.Engine is clean and runs well; averages 33 mpg on freeway.New battery added in 2018.After new engine was added no compressor connected. Has no A/C presently.Tires in fair shape. Took to Santa Barbara for a weekend trip last year (145 miles one way) and everything went smoothly.Two keys.Radio has security feature and plays CD's as well.Small rust spot on left rear Quarter panel in picture 11.Electric Antenna.Lots of small spare parts and bulbs collected over the years.Have detailed mechanics manual for self repair.5 speed manual transmission.manual windows, manual door locksFun to drive, easy to work on.Original paint; car has car cover; just needs a wash to show Henna red beautiful car.Car was built in Germany (Munich factory); I picked it up in September 1983 thru European Delivery Program.
