1991 BMW 3-Series Base Convertible 2-Door Description:

For auction is 1991 BMW 318i Convertible original M42 1.8 liter 4-cyl engine 142 HP and 5-speed Getrag 240 transmission. showing 135 k miles actual miles unknown. Totally rust free car spent all its life in dry and Hot San Jose, CA area. We bought it as project with hopes to make it a driver but never got it running but we are not mechanics. Previous owner said timing was bad but we had certified mechanic look at it and it looked fine, we never took it to the dealer. Engine turns over, cranks ok without weird noise but doesn't start. Has all the parts but front valance and both bumpers are missing. Otherwise very straight body but has signs of very light accident in drivers side front bumper mount but the Title is clean CA title, not salvage. Interior is sun baked, dash pad has cracks and needs seat covers.
