I purchased this BMW from Kaplan Cycles in Connecticut at the end of July with express purpose of hooking it up to a side car. A knee injury has forced me to rethink that at 68 it might be time for me to "hang up the helmet"!This beautiful bike has just been serviced and refreshed within the last 1,000 miles. It looks as good as it runs and with low miles 58,495! All work has been preformed by the previous owner and Kaplan Cycles.It has new paint, new front and rear tires, rebuilt carburetors, new air filter, cleaned and prepped gas tank, new Hagon rear shocks, new fork seals and oil, new battery with tender, new fuel lines, new fuel filters, new exhaust muffler, new alternator brushes, new front brakes, new rear brakes, new primary and secondary oils, new oil and oil filter. etc, etc, too much to list! Between the previous owner and Kaplan Cycles over $6,140 has been invested into this bike recently. It has an NADA value of $5,500. This bike is ready to go.If the salvage title is a problem then this is not the bike for you. I had no issues with the title when I purchased. It seems DMV's for minor damage force the owner to change the title status! I think that was the case in New York where the bike was titled when I purchased it from Kaplan Cycles. I have no clue what forced the title change becausethe bike for 37 years of age is in excellent condition.

TERMS OF SALEA deposit of $300 is due at the time of commitment to buy. Final payment is due in CASH or US POSTAL MONEY ORDER Final payment can be made with PayPal but 3% will be added to cover the fees from PayPal. I will invoice for payment if using PayPal to reflect the PayPal fee.

The Seller can deliver within 500 miles of Detroit Michigan for $1.50 aloaded mile. 500-1000 miles at $2.00 a loaded mile. Final monies, including fees for delivering will be settled and completed before the bike is loaded for transport bythe seller.
