1976 Leyland Mini Pickup
Fully Restored Mini Pickup that was restored in England over 4 years from 2007 to 2011, it has had aBare Metal Respray in Sublime Green it was painted Inside Outside upside down, the underneath is as shiny as the rest of the bodywork, its never been driver in the rain, the arches are as new, the inside of the cab is all painted to match too,
The Cab was split from the floors and an original brand new one piecefloor with sills and door steps all brand new, the new load bed has been fitted and brand new Tailgate that has never had anything placed in it, new quarter panels on both sides, the doors have both been reskinned with original mk1 door skins.all steps of restorationhave been fully photo documented, the restoration took 4 years and no expensespared.New Fuel lines fitted while on the rotisserie, Fuel Tank, New Brakes front and rear and Cylinders also new brakelines with steel braided hoses, New Shocks all around and a new steering rack,New Interior fitted to original Seats, New Custom Door panels black with green stitching to mach paintwork,New Headliner with green stitching New Carpets,New Cylinder Head with Unleaded Valve Seats,New Window Seals for front and Rear and Sliding glass,Fitted with Original Mini Cooper S Reverse Wheels,
The Car is located in Ventura County USA registered with DMV but no Smog as of Yet, be aware it is not registered in california yet but in the system, I am told the followingYou may not be able to register it in California because it’s titled as a ‘76. any other state will be fine, unless you know how to SMOG it,(Typically, cars and trucks that are 1975 or older are exempt from smog checks, but it’s even stricter for classic Minis, since they weren’t sold new here since 1967).BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repairs) won’t be able to help you, they can’t smog it because that year/model isn’t in any specifications they have as of yet, we are told if we pay for the BAR Test it will be ok, this is about $3000 for the test.
