1962 Austin Healey Sprite. I have a clean Utah title in my name. This is a very rust freewestern Sprite. It is a running, driving, Austin Healey that has been in storagefor several years. Please look at my Ebay feedback score. I know how difficult it is to buy a car without personally checking it out. With this in mind, I want bidders to know that I have sold several cars on Ebay, and I have a 100% positive feedback score with over 1,000 positive feedbacks and no negative strikes. My Austin Healey Sprite is not perfect, but is a solid, good running, and complete Austin Healey. It even has the original salesroom brochure from 1962. I want the new owner to know exactly what they are getting. With this goal in mind, I will list in detail the positive and negative aspects of the Sprite. First, the positive aspects: 1. This is a rust free western 1962 Sprite. Please look closely at the photos. The floors, including the trunk floor, are dry and rust free. The body isstraight and the doors, trunk, and hood align properly. 2. The engine starts easily. I just had the compression checked and it is at 120 in all four cylinders. The engine has new plugs, fresh oil, both carburetors rebuild, and a new clutch slave cylinder. 3. The Sprite is very complete. It has the top bows, top, and interior side panels. 4. This is a number matching original car. The engine, transmission, and rear-end are factory original to the car. 5. Sprite has good tires, and new hubcaps and beauty rings. On the negative side: 1. The paint is weak and faded. The front area of the hood has an old repair. It is not serious, but I want to be sure I cover the body in detail. In addition, the bumpers are dented and need attention. 2. The front windshield is cracked. The side windows come with the Healey and the attaching brackets are in place. 3. There is someclutch chatter when first engaged, butdissipates. 4. The Austin Healey Sprite sat in storage for several years, and need attention to the brakes. The brakes work, but I would recommend having them checked. 5. Theinterior is complete, but the interior panels are in the trunk. There are several extra parts as shown in the pictures.
