1959 Austin-Healey Bug Eye Sprite Description:
- Big upgrade on the car in 2001 with new motor and transmission. Motor is a 1275 cc and the transmission is a Datsun 210 Rivergate system 5 speed.- Disc brakes added at the same time.- Sway bar added at same time.- Cross-Flow radiator installed.- Other than small repaired rust patch on drivers floor pan, there is no rust on car.- Top is good.- Paint is fair to good. Panels fit well.- Car has been garaged since 2002 and used sparingly.- Oil changed, transmission oil changed.- New bump stops and straps installed in the back.- New door seals.- Seats not original, but two sets of aftermarket.- One repaired area of rust on drivers side floor pan.- Steering wheel not original but is from MOMO and needs to be recovered.- Wheels are not original but a set of Sprite wheels included.- Heater removed.- Tires are still 2001 and in good shape so proves how few miles car has been driven.
