1958 Austin Healey 100 6 roadster Description:

1958 Austin Healey 100 6 project car. It had a V8 conversion which was removed. It comes with a Healey 6 cylinder engine and manual transmission. The trans has a small piece of the case broken off which will probably not effect the operation but could be repaired. The condition of the engine and transmission are unknown.The main tub is in very good rust free condition. One of the best originals I've seen rust wise. The front shroud had a little action around lights and grill. The fenders were flared with metal and done pretty well but are unfortunately not correct flares for the car. The frame is in excellent condition as are the out riggers and supports. The floor are thin in a couple spots but could be use, welded or if you're going all out replaced. Somewhere along the way the wheels were changed to wires,when I got it they were barely attached in front. So the brakes are off and it needs new bearings in front. But, it does roll easily now and although it has no steering wheel it turns easily. Car is about 85% complete.I have a BMIHT document which shows the car as originally having green paint with grey top/interior. A good start for someone who doesn't mind or wants to build one up. I'll put the engine and trans on a pallet. I can help load the car. Transportation/shipping is entirely the buyers responsibility.The car is sold as is where is.
