It has none of the typical (British) headaches such as smelly fuel leaks, poor starting, over-heating, etc.. thanks to its Nissan 280-ZX engine & 5-Speed transmission. Ultra-Dependable, comfortable.This is a bolt-in upgrade; no cutting, drilling or welding was required. It tracks perfectly on the open road on its fresh Dunlop SP tires on new Dayton chrome wire wheels. And its new Healey Stainless Steel exhaust system sounds nice and throaty, just like a stock Healey.
The paint is excellent overall (you'll be accused of driving a show car but there are few minor chips and blemishes). The interior is very nice and the chrome & stainless are excellent. The doors, hood and trunk all shut beautifully, as expected on a straight car with no body sag (& never any collision damage).
This is one of those rare, honest, useful blue-chip investments that your entire family can enjoy. It's fun to drive and it's fast. Interesting history, and driven it thousands of miles over the past several years with never a moment's trouble. Theclutch andtransmission are buttery smooth. Drive it home with confidence. Cheers!
