1966 AMC Rambler Classic 770 Description:

Up for auction is my 1966 AMC Rambler Classic 770. It has a professionally rebuilt 6 cylinder inline 232 (with receipt). It runs, drives, and stops great - not a show car but looks great for a daily driver. As you can see from the pictures the interior is original and in decent shape, needs some work on the dash pad and the back seat but not horrible. Body looks decent and straight, one bad spot above the drivers side rear wheel (also pictured). If you start it once a week it fires right up and idles/drives great, if I leave it sit for a few weeks without starting i spray a little starting fluid or a squirt of gas in the carb and it fires right up and idles/drives great.
Since I have owned it I have rebuilt the motor and radiator, installed a new power steering pump, new alternator, new distributor, plugs, wires, and upgrade from points to electronic ignition. I have more in to it than I will ever get out but it is a labor of love and now its time to let it go and move on to another project.
