1971 AMC Javelin amx Description:

SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE A BENT FRAME, SALVAGE TITLE IS FROM A VERY SIMPLE FENDER BENDER.
INCLUDED IS A SET OF FRONT SEATS THAT ARE IN GOOD CONDITION, ONE OF THE SET BOTTOMS HAS A SEAM THAT NIS SEPERATING, BUT HAVE A NEW SEAT UPOLSTERY I DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS NOS, BUT IS NEW.HAVE ANOTHER HEAD LINER FOR HER,UNWRAPPED FRONT BUMPER AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE NO RUST ON THE FACE BUT SOME ON THE BACKSIDE.I HAVE nos FRONT BUMPER BRACKETS I WILL INCLUDEVIN A1C797H302152SHE STARTED AS SST, BUT ADDED SPOILER, HOOD, AIR CLEANER, AND HAVE SCREENSTILL MORE QUESTION I WILL TRY AND RESPOND HERE,MORE QUESTIONS OR LIKE TO LOOK AT HER PLEASE CALL 907-435-7382
I've owned this car since about 1985
Started out with the 304 2bl auto with the SST package in canary (mustard).
First I changed to the COWL HOOD and FLAPPER AIR CLEANER, and installed a twin grip.
At some point someone clipped the left rear, Found a doner quarter panel at local auto body shop.
Few years after pulled the engine and sent the body off for paint, Black Sapphire Blue
Swapped the engine from a doner 71 Matador, but rebuilt the engine, ported and polished heads stainless valves, stellite seats, balance the pistons and balanced the crank, added the 727 rebuilt.
Replaced all the bushings, ball joints and sand blasted all the control arms and linkages.
At some point added DOUG THORLEY HEADERS, very heavy thick wall tubes.
The rear end was reworked. Because the factory tube welds broke, done professionally, freeway gears, the twin grip is very tight.
She does have a salvage title, because someone hit the right front fender, replaced the fender, and insurance had totaled the car for a simple fender bender.
About 13 years ago I was getting her repainted, and she was done sitting in front of the paint shop already paid for..... and someone backed into the front bumper and grill. I have the grill, needs some tlc and have another bumper from ebay that I have not even unwrapped.
I do not think she even has 5000 miles on the rebuild, seriously been sitting for the last 13 years,Every time the home owners association has asked me to move her she starts, and I move her
I don't have the time for her, lots of potential.
Rust, all I know about are in the pictures,
I do have the correct carpet kit for her and some nice used front seats in the house that I have not unwrapped from another ebay purchase.
She has the heated rear window. (but no wiring).
Centerline rims, and original space saver tire.
If someone buys it now, I will throw in a spare rebuildable 73 401, 727, and drive shaft.
