1969 amc javelin

1969 AMC Javelin Description:

We have for your consideration a 1969 AMC Javelin ready for restoration. The car is equipped with a 290 cubic inch v8 with 4 barrel carburetor. This engine has been completely rebuilt with very little run time and it has a Edelbrock carburetor installed.The original carburetor comes with the car. There is also a set of headers installed and afactory points distributor. The transmission is a Borg-Warner automatic. The Javelin is equipped with power steering and power drum brakes. This is a running and yard driving vehicle. At the moment we are replacing the front wheel cylinders, front brake hoses, lines and master cylinder so this car will be able to stop. Areas that need most attention are lower rear quarters andpassengers front floor pan. The frame rails all look good. The interior is in good conditioner for the age, it may have been reupholstered at some point. The vehicle has the factory tach dash as well.We do not have the center panel where the radio speaker is located. The hood is included but not shown in the pictures. The trunk is full of parts: taillights, trim pieces, etc. We have all 4 matching rims with volcano center caps. We recently changed the oil, installed new spark plugs, fixed a leak in the radiator, and put a used battery in. At this point we are running the vehicle off of a gas can, fuel tank condition unknown. You are bidding on a running, moving, and soon to stop restoration project. NO WARRANTIES I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my ability. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Full payment is due within 3 days of auction ending. Buyer is responsible for transporting the vehicle. Rhode Island does not issue titles for vehicles older than 2001. Previous RI registrationand bill of sale will be provided as this is all you will need to apply for a title in your state. No reserve auction this car will sell bid with confidence.
