1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Description:

Up for consideration is a very collectible 1965 Giulia Sprint GT "Stepnose”. This car was built on February 9, 1965. Originally white in color.
I am the 3rd Owner. 2nd Owner had this car from 1973-2018. He began a customizing job around 1981. He modified the step nose to the smooth nose version that came on later Giulia's. It was not hacked up or filled with bondo. The person who did the work did a great job. He simply cut the seam at the step. Dollied the lip flat and re welded the center piece. The rear panel was also modified for a different tail light. It is a square hole. It looks like he was going to use the later GTV lights. The ones present are a mystery. They are square it's just the trim that makes it look irregular. It would be a shame to replace the whole tail panel just for the light area. I planned to patch the sheetmetal to re install the smaller original lights. It has a a nice paint job on it. You can finish as is or revert back to the original look. All the body lines line up really nice. As you can see in pictures the car is super solid and I have not seen any rust. I could not find ANY soft spots. It has been stored indoors since 1981. Engine turns freely. I have not attempted to start. Previos Owner had it running from a jug of gas. Present is the extremely hard to find 5 bar nose trim piece. Please request any pictures or ask to face time, Skype or WhatsApp for walk around.
These cars are becoming very difficult to find and are very desirable. In original restored form are high dollar cars. Great investment opportunity.I have set what I feel is a fair reserve.
