The Duetto from 1966 had the jewel of the 1600 DOHC engine with 2 twin choke Weber carburetors developing 104 BHP, 5-speed gearbox, coil springs and disc brakes on all four wheels,
With the beautiful lines of the 1600 Spider Pininfarina managed to give Alfa Romeo one of their longest lasting successes ever. Basically unchanged from the introduction in 1966 to end of production in 1993 Alfa made only few changes to the basic concept. The original "Boattail" design or "Duetto" as the Italian called it, is by many still considered the purest and most attractive. The appearance in "The Graduate" with a young debuting Dustin Hoffman as Benjamin Braddock undoubtedly contributed to this cars fame.

Original color was green. Color change during restoration 17 years ago.
Wood on dashboard is a simple thin veneer and can be easily removed. I liked the wood over the OEM painted version.
Piles of receipts over the years ranging most recently from tires, shocks, clutch, brakes, head rebuild, radiator, fuel pump (electric), starter, generator, swing arm bushings, voltage regulator, carb spacers.
Runs very well, garage kept, paint very respectable but not perfect (painted during restoration, proper Alfa red). Interior, original as shown. Exterior of Robins top good condition, spars/top liner needs painting/replacing.
