1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider

1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Description:

One of the last 101 spiders built. This car needs total restoration. It is complete except for some small trim items such as drivers door glass, chrome trunk lock, radio, cigarette lighter, jack, and spare tire. Some spares included. Mechanically the car is intact. It has the correct engine original to the car. #AR00112-15134 I do not believe there are any alterations to the car. It did run when parked in 1980. The engine does NOT turn by hand now. I listed the mileage, but the car is in km. It shows 105,800 km. The body is straight, but there is minor old damage to the left rear fender. The interior floors and trunk floor were rusted out and the last owner cut large sections of the floor out. Reproduction floors are readily available.This car is structurally intact. you can open the doors and it does not sag. I have raised it on a forklift and it did not bend. The rocker boxes and cross members look good, including trailing arm mounts. This does not mean that under scrutiny you will not find additional body or chassis repair required. The interior was removed by the last owner, but is included. The seat bottoms are junk, rusted out, bad foam, and upholstery. Some interior parts may be missing. Chrome trim is intact. One front bumper is dented, but a spare is included. The hood hinges are broken. Top frame looks good, but there is no top canvas. In total this car is well worth restoring. As the owner of Alfa Heaven I have restored many, many Alfas. I hid this car away because it was a good restore candidate. It has been stored inside for decades. I just pulled it out for the pics then put it back. Yes, i have clear title in my name. I am selling the car because i am now retired and know i will never find the time to redo the car. This is the last 101 spider i will sell. Most of my Alfas are now part of the Motorama Auto Museum and NOT for sale. The car is for sale locally. If you want more info feel free to contact me.
