1961 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description:

The perfect Project car because most of the hard work is completed and most parts that need replacing are included new.
Purchased in Arizona in 1961, this 190SL has resided in Arizona its entire history to present, no rust. First Owner from 1961 to 2000 (67,000 original miles), second owner (me) 2000 until Present day (Engine and Odometer are at 0 miles after both being rebuilt). Original owner documents and partial service history are included. Original Application for Title and Registration and 1968 Registration card included. Data Card information from Mercedes Classic Center included. All Body plates included. Keys included. Most 190SL International Club parts are included as well as DVD tutorials. Many Service books are included. Everything you need!
Car stripped down and meticulously sorted and organized. Both Hard top and Soft top included. Original Becker radio with paperwork, amplifier and speaker included. This car came complete to me except that the gas fuel filter pump was changed to an electric pump ( I purchased NOS gas fuel filter pump and lines). Otherwise this car is complete and has too numerous to count NOS, etc parts along with all original parts saved. Battery and old exhaust pipes missing (new Exhaust system included)
Work done so far: Body painted (including hard top, engine compartment, wheel wells and trunk compartment. Many misc parts painted (gas tank, partition plates, misc tools, hub caps and jack) Exterior Chrome re-plated at Royal Plating,Tucson, AZ, Interior chrome in excellent condition. Engine sent to Metric Motors Inc., Canoga Park, CA for complete long block. Gauges and clock sent to Hollywood Speedometer, Hollywood, CA for complete rebuild. Twin Solex carburetors sent to S and S Imports, Dallas, TX for complete rebuild, resent for checkup 2018. New leather on dash, seats, door panels, door top edges, rear seating area. I have photo documented every part, then wrapped, boxed and labeled for easy locating and shipping. If you would like to inspect the vehicle person, I can immediately find and unwrap for your inspection and well as show you pictures before wrapping and boxing. I have included as many pictures as Ebay will allow, but have all pictures of the entire car before being bagged, boxed and labeled per the 190SL Parts Spare Parts list which is also included (the original and a bench working copy).
